Very warm. Fits very well. I purchased a large. I am 5' 7" and a little on the fluffy side. This fits perfectly and once I lose weight it will fit even better. Very warm and have tested it in 13degree weather and I didn't even feel the wind blowing. One little thing I have is how large the hood is. BUT. it does have an adjustable stings so its not a big gripe but it is one.
Love this coat! So warm and plenty of pockets! The thumb holes at wrist fit a bit odd, like I can't reach my arm out for something if my thumbs are in there, so I usually just don't wear them. I am a female, usually size M.
Beautiful coat, great weight for this cold Illinois winter! Because it's water repellant, it sheds not only rain, but wet snow and no way the wind is getting - with the lining, it's toasty warm!.
I bought the jacket to go skiing in Vermont, NH. During the four days, the temperature ranged 9-31 degrees Fahrenheit. It was sometimes very windy, and sometimes very snowy. Despite its heavy use, the jacket showed no signs of wear at the end of the trip. The jacket worked very well at insulating my body and I never felt cold. I fell many times and moisture was never able to get inside - there are several common ski jacket features that were included in the jacket, including an interior snap around the waist area, and exterior snap outside of the main zipper that keeps the hood down, and a piece that you can put over the thumb.
I never heard of the brand before didn't know what I was going to get. I been through snow, rain, ice cold winter warning gusty winds and this coat holds it's own. You can raise you arms shoulder level and the coat stays in place if that makes any sense. I've received a lot of compliments from men and women. I like that it keeps me warm and dry and it's not bulky. If you have a business or business casual dress code this coat is perfect. My only regret is that I didn't go 2 sizes up to accommodate for thick sweaters in my wardrobe but that's my fault. Recommend paring with wind water proof gloves. I bought this coat back in November and I'm glad I did.
*PRO TIP* If you purchase this jacket, don't overlook the 2 little belt-like straps on the inside of the liner that you can button around your waist. I'm 6' 0" - 195lbs - Athletic Build - The US/EU Large (JP-3XL) fits me perfect. If you wipe-out in snow and you're wearing ski pants instead of bibs/overalls those straps will become the difference between having an amazing day and having your pants filled to the rim with snow/ice while you're still wearing them. I wore it snow skiing in windy, 25°F conditions all week. I only had a tight fitting dri-fit on under it and I was never anywhere close to cold. May the force be with you. P. s. I learned that the hard way. That was my 1st time skiing; needless to say, I fell facefirst at high speeds multiple times. This jacket kept me dry and protected the whole time.
I chose this coat over other coats costing upwards of 5x as much for an 8-day expedition in Antarctica and was pleased with the result. I found it to be very functional in all respects -- invariably warm in freezing temperatures with 20- to 40-knot winds and snow, invariably dry in rain and ocean spray through over a dozen beach landings and retrievals by Zodiac boat. The hood is effective and the pockets are good in size and locations. The zippers and snaps worked well and showed no signs of failure. The velcro closure on the face guard is a bit iffy but it worked adequately. In hindsight I would have gotten a brighter color, but that's almost as much a matter of taste as practicality. With black or color, you can be seen against the snow. I have read the other reviews and conclude that you either get one of the many good ones, or one of the few that should not have gotten past the quality inspection. Give yourself enough time to return a defective one and when you have a good one you will be happy with it.
It’s just how they described. Very happy and would buy it again. Fits great! And is exceptionally warm.
Comparing this to the much more expensive brands found in sporting goods stores, there is not much difference other than perhaps the material the puffer jacket is filled with. Quality:All of the seams are properly and professionally finished on both the outer shell and the inner jacket. This is something many of the 3-in-one sets don't do properly! The internal and external zippers are tucked under a tidy placket so they are out of the way and insulated. Fit:I ordered a Medium based on reviewer suggestions and the size chart, but sent it back for a Small. 5". Hood was deep and large enough to put over a ski helmet, and adjustable with a bungee elastic. The bottom edge was the correct size for an American body (sometimes the hips are very slender on Asian made clothing), and it can be adjusted inward with a bungee elastic. The small is quite roomy and wide enough for several layers underneath, and wide enough across the shoulders for a US size 4/6. The outer shell is lined, and the inner puffer jacket looks good both inside and outside of the jacket. All of the pockets have smooth sturdy waterproof zippers. The front opening zipper on the puffer is bi-directional (the tab flips over so you can easily zip it up inside out, or right side out depending on how you're wearing it). Sleeves are long enough for the size, and would accommodate longer-limbed ladies. The outer fabric quite waterproof, and an attractive deep purple (or deep maroon if you order the red one). It was nice and toasty warm worn over a thermal layer in 20F active snow and windproof. Body length was correct for each size (I tried a M and S). The very expensive sets use pure goose/duck down instead of polyester fill or cotton. This puffer is filled with synthetic fill, and it will not leak feathers (but is slightly less warm than the very best duck (eider) down. ). The M was longer than the S by about 1.
Had the skinny wheel before and it's nothing compared to this one. Just started Using it and it hurts but I'm looking forward to the end result. I just love this thing.
It feels like t will block the Michigan winds. Runs big but in the winter months I tend to wear layers. I bought during a summer lighting deal.
Fit perfectly & had everything the big name $200 brand jackets. Kept me dry & very warm while snowboarding all day.
I bought this before spending a week hiking in Canada and was very impressed. The padded back made it comfortable and was able to hold a water bladder. The fold out rain cover came in handy to keep my phone amd camera dry. Good quality and plenty of room for all your items.
I have seen similar backpacks that run $100 or more. Extremely satisfied!. Larger and higher quality than I ever expected for the price.
Highly recommend!. Very comfortable to wear. They take all pressure off your knees making a job requiring you to be on your knees even possible.
Theses pads are so cushy I purposely fall on my knees now instead of my butt. They are pretty thick so make sure your pants are big enough for it. I usually leave the mountain with bruises after snowboarding.
Yesterday, I ran about 3 miles and I have zero pain in my shins after my run and no pain today either. Calf sleeves were recommended to me by a friend because I mentioned a constant pain in my shins when I run, i. I can honestly say that I haven't felt any pain from my shin splints since I started using these compression sleeves. e. I've very satisfied. , shin splints. I used to be in a great amount of pain if I ran more than a mile or two. He said that he started using compression sleeves on his calves to solve the same issue and he doesn't have the problem anymore. I would HIGHLY recommend giving these a try if you suffer from shin splints. I went to Aikiki, looked up compression sleeves and I ended up buying these because they were the highest rated pair I could find for the right price. I've used them a few time now and I can tell you that I've noticed a substantial difference in how my shins feel when I run or do circuits.
I would definitely recommend. The quality of the material, and the velcro is great. This brace is much cheaper then others listed on Aikiki, but it is probably compatible to something that cost 5 times more. I purchased the brace due to pain I was experiencing in my wrist when lifting weights; and it has helped tremendously. The brace is not bulky, but it does provide support and has helped to eliminate the pain I was experiencing.
This is a great brace/support for people who have weaker ankles. I'm getting a bit older so during my hiit workouts, sometimes my ankles aren't as stable as they once were. This item helps.
