Overall very happy I bought it. Bought this for both style and warmth as I live in Vermont. Fits as expected. Been wearing it for about 2 weeks straight. Holding up nice. Only wish the pockets were lined with some cloth/felt for added warmth on bare hands.
However, the coat is great and we gave it to our son instead of returning it. Easily freezing point and below. The coat is warm, comfortable, and well constructed. It is a coat suitable for cold weather. The only issue was that we ordered it for my husband, and it was too small for him. He normally wears M or L.
different color. I decided to get a 2nd one for myself. I really like this jacket. I had also ordered a Columbia jacket that cost more than double the Aikiki and i sent the Columbia back. . I feel much warmer in the Aikiki and you can remove the hood. Well made and looks very nice. It is my best jacket. I bought one for my son and a friend overseas.
I loved this coat so much that I bought one for each of my children and one for my mother. The elastic waist is. Great addition. I put a fleece sweater under it and spent a weekend camping in sub-freezing temperatures and felt warm and cozy. By far the warmer coat I own. I broke one of the pocket zippers. It was my fault. I over stuffed the pocket and tried to force the zipper. The pockets are very big. I can fit a 1 liter stepper bottle and gloves and still zip it closed. It has kept me warm in cold rainy days. It’s a little loose on me.
Waterproof and as I have had many winter jackets in the past, I knew this would keep us warm and dry in Alaska's diverse weather conditions. Actually, I bought two of them. Good value and I loved the little pouch it came in so that I can easily packet it in my suit case. One for me and one for my girlfriend for our cruise to Alaska later this year. I tried mine on and instantly knew this jacket will be need our needs for our trip.
Excited to continue wearing it and see how it does!. Received this a day ago, have worn it out a couple times, temps are between 0 and 10 degrees and been quite warm. I am 5'8" and weigh 185, went with an XL so I could wear a hoodie under it and have plenty of room. Coat is not to baggy and can wear it in the car no problem. Only complaint, the string to tighten the hood snapped the second I pulled on the right side. Not a huge deal for me, will probably never use the hood.
From the reviews, it looks like a Chinese brand that had some initial challenges in manufacturing, issues with zippers and so forth, which have since been resolved. I realized it had a kind of glove built-in to the inside of the jacket that goes around your wrist and thumb to keep the snow out of the arms. Not being a massive snow guy, I took a 'normal jacket' for a snow weekend with my family. I felt cool, despite the unknown name "Aikiki". The jacket was comfortable, plenty warm (but not too warm) and has plenty of pockets and cinches to keep the snow out. It was awful. Highly recommended. I had snow going down my neck, the fir on the collar just melted the snow causing me to get more wet. I bought it and took it to Mammoth Mountain for the weekend. It works great. I went to the fancy stores at the ski village and found a decent Northface Jacket but it cost over $350. Arguably, this jacket might be too warm for the snow if you happen to be very active while outdoors. But it was below 30F, windy, and snowing all weekend, and it worked great for me. I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on a jacket. On Day 3 I was still finding new features of this jacket. I continued to be jealous of my wife's jacket that had a proper hood to keep the snow out of your neck. I didn't use it, but the elastic design stayed around my wrist and made a nice seal anyway. For the cost, I'm very impressed. I felt like I was uncool wearing an improper jacket for the conditions. I came home and started searching on Aikiki and came across this.
Extremely warm with both coats. Outside coat was much larger than expected however I’m very happy with the purchase.
It’s what you’d expect from a ski jacket. The two jackets are actually zipped together not just buttoned. I was in the snow and i was warm the whole time. I saw people complaining it’s big and puffy but it’s not super bad. Far surpassed my expectations. Super warms and feels really well made.
Amazing coat! Took it on my first skiing trip, despite my many crashes, and spending the majority of the day in the snow rather than on it, this coat kept me warm and dry all day. Love the removable liner, can wear it as a puff coat or a rain jacket.
Worth the few extra bucks over the basic ab wheels. Very solid and stable during use. A big plus is there are no internal springs or gears to break down.
Totally recommend these trunks. I swim laps and such in this suit once or twice a week, and I've had it for almost a year and it hasn't stretched out at all. They do run quite small (as a good athletic swimsuit should) - I first bought a size 32, being a size 32 waist, but it was like strangling. They let me return it and I bought a 34, which fits great - still tight but comfortable. The cut is great - not too small like Aikikis I had to wear on the high school swim team - it's more of a square shape which is cool.
Especially for such price -AMAZING! I even washed it already and it still good. Great jacket! Good quality with many useful details.
Would be perfect if the bag came with a wider mouth so that once real is on you could use Storage bag for the both rod and reel :-). Everything about this collapsible rod as exceptional. I recommend. Only thing I would change is the bag that it comes in.
The Large is comfortable and fits well. The bra is not as supportive as hoped for. However, doubling up helps with support as some other reviewers have mentions!. I’m pregnant and went up a few bra sizes to a 32G.
NEED TO GET A COUPLE MORE TO KEEP THE AWESOMENESS GOING. I LOVE THIS DAGG GOWN THANG. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YALL GETTN ONE OF THESE.
These have really help me get thru the day. The Dr. I was so please with them I order a second pair just to keep at work in case I forgot to carry it with me. said I have a bulging disc and also a protruding disc and I get epidural injections for the pain. Did they solve all my problems? No, but the make my day much more manageable. I tried the copper support braces and they help some. But I decided to give these a try and I am glad I did.
I reached out to Christy of Aikiki via email and she was very responsive. Everything was resolved quickly. A++ Customer ServiceWhen ordering most likely you'll require one size larger than you think. The size L I ordered for my husband turned out to be a bit tight.
Really works. . wow! Was I in pain. The shoulder brace worked exactly as it commited to. I was back to normal in 3 weeks. Definitely recommend it to others. I had a dislocated rotator cuff, stretched ligaments, etc. Made the recovery process smooth, simple to put on & fits all sizes & shapes, just follow the instructions.
I've tried a few others and either I didnt get full support or the velcro adjustment wouldn't adjust where I needed or dig into my skin in different areas. Really love how this splint isolates my thumbs when I've been overdoing my typing or video games. Great value too!. The velcro can be adjusted and made where it can't dig into your skin.
